The Achema forum and exhibition event regularly welcomes over 150,000 participants from around 100 different countries. One of the central themes of the 2018 event, that of ‘Flexible Production’, i.e. how to optimise the value chain by using new digital technologies is highly relevant to the synTQ software platform.
synTQ is one of the most widely used solutions for achieving an optimised production process based on Process Analytical Technology (PAT). The latest version of Optimal’s headline software product is at the forefront of a paradigm shift currently occurring in chemical, biotech and pharmaceutical industries as they change production and development processes over to PAT based operating principles.
The potential benefits are huge, as synTQ can transform productivity and quality in both continuous and batch production processes, offering live product quality predictions and a real-time PAT based control capability. The use of synTQ in highly regulated environments can reduce both time-to market and increase production volumes from the same floor-space by an order of magnitude. Unsurprisingly, over half of the largest global pharma companies are using Optimal’s synTQ software.
V5 of synTQ features new functionalities to improve the user experience. These include a new real-time Multivariate Statistical Process Control (MSPC) viewer and user-configurable Control Charts that can detect when the process is moving out of control and take action to correct the situation. In addition, Optimal will demonstrate its innovative Material Tracking System (MTS), a new advanced product tracking module for continuous processes.
Optimal will be running live instruments connected to the latest version of synTQ demonstrating the new features of version 5, including the MSPC viewer and the configurable Control Chart functionality.
Martin Gadsby, Director at Optimal Industrial Technologies, said: “synTQ is well accepted and established as the clear leader in the field of PAT enabled process optimisation. However, we at Optimal aim to continuously improve the software and provide an evolving solution that helps customers worldwide to boost their production capabilities. We look forward to meeting visitors to the Optimal booth to discuss what is possible and the best individual implementation strategies.”
